Who we are
We are the Nucleus Financial Platforms group.
We run two platforms exclusively for financial advisers to help them make retirement more rewarding for their clients.
- James Hay Online is our retirement platform for larger financial advisory businesses.
- Nucleus Wrap is our financial planning platform for smaller and medium-sized advisers.
We have an exciting vision for the future as we combine our respective experience, skills and services.
We’re harnessing James Hay’s pensions expertise and Nucleus’s digital capability to build the best retirement-focused adviser platform for larger adviser firms in the UK.
Our combined scale, and the profitability that comes with it, is enabling us to invest in products, technology, price and service that will deliver great value.
We plan to provide the right blend of human service, online proposition and attractive pricing.
Our new brand
You’ll no doubt already be familiar with the Nucleus name and the platform technology and service the team has provided over the past 15 years. We’re building on the legacy of trust and goodwill they’ve established, by retaining the name for our combined business, although giving it a fresh new look and feel - as showcased here.
The concept behind our new look is ‘rewarding relationships’ – two elements coming together to create something better. It symbolises the dynamic between us and the adviser; the adviser and their customer; and us and their customer.
It also reflects why we’re here, which is to empower advisers to meet the evolving needs of their customers, in order to provide them with a more rewarding financial planning and retirement experience.
Building on the past
Our goal is to:
- take the fintech essence of the existing Nucleus business – its adviser-centric, technology-led, challenger mindset
- and combine it with James Hay's SIPP/retirement expertise and problem-solving know-how.
We plan to use these attributes to build adviser trust and confidence.
Our aim is to deliver a straightforward and simple to use platform that’s supported by a smart, personal service that allows advisers to utilise and benefit from the expert insight we bring. All while retaining that can-do spirit, so we constantly grow and develop to meet changing needs. Our new identity reinforces this.
